Vanilla ice has revealed that he isn't a fan of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles song.
As we all know, Ice released the so bad it's good theme tune 'Go Ninja, Go Ninja Go!', taken from the second Turtles movie, Secret of the Ooze. It's a perfect little of 90's weirdness featured in the film, when the heroes fight Tokka and Rahzar in a night club, inspiring the rapper to perform the track. So when Ice talks ninjas it's time to listen up.
This time around Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, TY Dolla $ign, Kill the Noize and Madsonik gave it a shot for the Michael Bay reboot. No surprise that it is devoid of fun, ingenuity and any lack of musical merit whatsoever (sort of like Bay's movies). Vanilla Ice isn't too happy about the new theme song either, by the looks of it...
"With respect to all of the artists, the song doesn't really do it for me," he told GQ magazine. "It feels a little artificial – what I mean by that is that it sounds like a bunch of executives in the corporate world put it together. It really does not fit the theme of the Ninja Turtles' legend. I think you have to understand, and be a true Ninja, to possess the Magic to really pull off the secret sound."

Meanwhile, rapper Wiz Khalifa, who features on the track may disagree as he has professed that he is a huge fan.
"I actually have Donatello tattooed on my leg, so when they asked me to do it, just being a fan and being a musician, it made sense," he admitted in a statement. "In my generation, I think everyone who listens to me loves the Turtles as much as I do."
