Death From Above 1979 have unveiled a new track, set to feature on their long awaited second album released next month. Listen to 'Government Trash' below.
‘Government Trash’ is the latest piece of new material from the group, and has been teased at the duo’s recent live shows, appearing on a free cd that was reportedly handed out their LA gig last week.
The track will feature on the group’s forthcoming album The Physical World, which is out next month, though it is currently unknown as to whether it’ll be the next single.
Unashamedly gritty and visceral as all DFA1979 material should be, ‘Government Trash’ is a gloriously frantic bass-led smash, a testament to their career to date that also pushes things forward.
