The US cable channel FXX is set to air a music-themed Simpsons marathon today (11 September), featuring some of the best musical episodes of the long-running cartoon comedy.
The four-hour, eight-episode marathon follows a 12-day, 552-episode marathon of every episode, and kicks off tonight at 8pm.
As Rolling Stone reports, the mini-marathon is connected to the forthcoming Simpsons Take the Bowl variety show in Hollywood, which will feature a live orchestra, Simpsons voice actors, and video clips to celebrate "all things Springfield."
Songs featured during the marathon will include the 'Monorail Song', 'We Put The Spring In Springfield' and, the highlight of the entire thing, 'See My Vest'.

The 26th season (yeah) of The Simpsons is set to air later this month, and will feature the much talked-about Family Guy crossover episode, The Simpsons Guy.
