Metallica have announced that they will be reissuing the Some Kind Of Monster documentary.
The film, which was released back in 2004, has been out of print for two years but is due for release as a two-disc Blu-ray and download set. Also included will be Metallica: The Monster Lives, a bonus feature that chronicles the ten years following on from Some Kind of Monster. The new edition is due for release 24 November.

The metal behemoths are also planning to put out their latest track 'Lords of Summer', as a limited edition vinyl for Record Store Day's Black Friday. The special print, which lands 28 November, will also feature a special live recording of the song from Rock in Rome Sonisphere festival.
If that wasn't enough for the ravenous Metallica fans out there, they are also releasing 27 live albums all recorded this year. Three will be released every Monday until the end of the year and can be purchased through livemetallica.com.
