Rod Stewart is facing legal action after reportedly breaking a fan's nose with a football during a show in Las Vegas.
Mostafa Kashe is suing the veteran rocker for $6000 after a football reportedly hit him in the face when Stewart kicked it out during a show at Caesar's Palace in October 2012.
Kashe has described the 69 year old singer as "negligent, careless, and/or reckless" in his statement, whilst his complaint continues to argue that Stewart kicked the balls with "sufficient force so as to potentially injure patrons."
The veteran rocker has been kicking autographed footballs into the crowd as part of his show for over two decades, and recently said "The show wouldn't be the show if I stopped kicking out those footballs... It would be like not playing 'Maggie May,' you know."

Rod Stewart has yet to comment on the court case, neither have Caesar's Palace and concert promoter AEG Live, who are also part of the lawsuit.
