Black Sabbath have revealed they will return to the studio to record one last album, with sessions set to begin early next year.

Speaking to Metal Hammer, frontman Ozzy Osbourne revealed they will begin work on the record in 2015, deciding to work on the project after the band enjoyed their reformation last year, "The whole Sabbath experience this time around was great," said Osbourne, "We all made friends, we didn't fuck around, we all knew that we had a job to do, and we did it. It was a lot of fun. So we're going to do one more album, and a final tour."

The singer went onto confirm that this final album will once again see the band work with legendary producer Rick Rubin, insisting sessions will begin soon, dependant on guitarist Tony Iommi's wellbeing: "Obviously a lot of it is coming down to Tony's health, he's obviously got his cancer treatment, but we'll get onto it next year."

"I don't know if we'll be writing in England or LA, but I'll fly to the fucking moon for it if I have to!”

No new material has been recorded for Black Sabbath's fourteenth album yet, however sessions are reportedly scheduled in for early 2015.

This summer saw the group play a host of acclaimed live shows, including a headline slot at British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park.
