A new report has stated that sales of vinyl in the UK are currently at the highest level since 1997.
A study by The ERA reported that 825,000 records had been bought in 2014 so far, with that number set to top one million before the end of the year.
The reasoning behind the resurgence is yet to be determined, however ERA Director general Kim Bayley explained: "This is an extraordinary turnaround. Independent retailers were first to identify the untapped potential for vinyl and made it the focus of Record Store Day."
"With record labels now making more vinyl available, this trend shows no sign of abating."
Arctic Monkeys' AM is currently the biggest selling record of 2014, with Jack White's Lazaretto, Oasis' Definitely Maybe, Royal Blood's debut album and the Led Zeppelin reissues all seeing huge sales as well.

This week saw some confusion surface around the sale of vinyl, with Urban Outfitters claiming they were the biggest seller of records before Amazon disputed their claims.
Despite the increase in sales though, it was also reported that vinyl only accounts for 3% of physical music sales, with CD still dominating the market with 97%.
