Black Flag co-founder Greg Ginn has been accused of child abuse by his ex-wife Marina Ginn.
As reported by Consequence Of Sound, in an affidavit filed to the Williamson County Texas District Court on 10 October, Marina asked for "an Emergency Motion to Modify the Parent-Child Relationship" over concerns for the pair's two daughters, Isadora and Karis.
The full affadavit makes for grim reading, detailing how their father allegedly denies them food, forces them to eat unpalatable food, threatens them with physical abuse, uses drugs in their presence, has violent fights in the house and makes them work on chores till 2am. Greg has also apparently taken to whistling at his daughters and saying “You’re hot.”
Greg founded Black Flag in 1976 and the band are no stranger to conflict. Recently the band had to settle a lawsuit with his former bandmates after they reunited as FLAG and vocalist Ron Reyes appears to have been sacked on stage in Australia.
