Charli XCX has hit out at Eminem, branding the rapper 'disgusting' after his recent lyrical work that saw him threaten Iggy Azalea with rape.
The rapper recently caused controversy on new track 'Vegas', when he provoked Azalea with the unnecessarily graphic lyric: "So what's it gon' be? Put that shit away, Iggy. You don't wanna blow that rape whistle on me. Scream! I love it. Before I get lost gettin' off."
Iggy already responded to Eminem's comments, stating she was bored of "old men threatening young women as entertainment trend", but now her 'Fancy' collaborator has also jumped to her defence in a new interview.
Speaking to Famous magazine in Australia (via Spin), Charli commented: "It was disgusting, and totally Eminem. He has a history of provocative lyrics, so it's hardly surprising, but still intensely shocking,"
The 'Break The Rules' singer then went onto praise Azalea, stating: "Iggy's a classy lady and she rose above it."
