Dr. Dre has been named by Forbes magazine as the highest paid musician.
Still defined as a musician despite having released barely any music for the last decade, Dre has taken home the rather substantial sum of $620 million in one year. This puts him at the top of Forbes' highest paid musician list and ahead of runner up Beyoncé by $500m.
His rather substantial earnings come off the back the $3 billion Apple purchase of his questionable Beats brand. This also means that the "rapper" featured in Forbes' Cash Kings 2014 list as well.
