Sam Smith has been crowned the Best Artist 2014 by iTunes UK.
The soulful crooner, who released his album In The Lonely Hour this year, took the second best-selling spot but came out on top. Meanwhile Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' featuring Jess Glynne took the Best Song 2014.
“I'm very, very thankful and owe so much to iTunes for their incredible support with In The Lonely Hour," said Smith. "It's an honour to be named Artist Of The Year. I'm going to have a drink now...”

Other winners in iTunes' list include Royal Blood with Best New Artist and Paolo Nuttini's Caustic Love which took the Best Album category.
The Frozen soundtrack was the third best-selling record of the year, while the film itself was the top selling of the year. Other best-sellers of the year included Ed Sheeran’s X and Pharrell Williams’ single, Happy
