Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus and One Direction lead an annual list devoted to those who have used celebritiy for the power of good. Read the full list below.
In a list that contains actors, wrestlers, comedians and one certified Guardian Of The Galaxy, DoSomething.org's "Celebs Gone Good" list recognises those who have used their influence for the power of good (and not just to shift speakers and t-shirts).
Swift is naturally a shoe in with the site claiming: "2014 was a big year for Taylor Swift. She moved to New York, had a feminist awakening, dropped her country roots, released the pop album 1989, and donated all proceeds from the sale of her single “Welcome to New York” to New York City Public Schools. DoSomething.org has a blank space at the top of this year’s Celebs Gone Good list, and we’ll write her name."
Beyonce is the second highest musician on the list with the site praising her #BeyGOOD campagin that "aided in putting people back to work, restocked clothing donation centers and provided counseling, housing, food and medical assistance to the homeless." One Direction and John Legend also appear in the list.
It's also a rare piece of good press for Miley Cyrus. The organisation praised Miley Cyrus is always full of surprises, but this year she surprised us by doing something crazy (good) at the VMAs. Cyrus used her acceptance speech for her Video of the Year win to bring attention to the hardships of youth experiencing homelessness and raise money for My Friend’s Place through a Prizeo campaign.
Unsurprisingly U2's decision to gift Songs Of Innoncence to the world sadly didn't mean he made the shortlist. Read the full top 20 below.

Recently speculation has been rife that Taylor Swift will appear at Glastonbury only for her friend Ed Sheeran to dismiss the rumours. ''Taylor doesn't like festivals," Sheeran told The Sun, ''so for any bookies reading... I think Taylor likes doing her own show because she's in control and it's how she wants it to be.''
''With Glastonbury or any festival, you're at the mercy of the people who run the festival," he added, ''she wants it all to be perfect''.
''I'd bet you a large amount of money she doesn't - a large amount of money.''
As part of her UK tour, Taylor Swift will headline Barclaycard British Summer Time festival on 27 June and will be supported by Ellie Goulding and John Newman. Buy tickets safely and securely with Seatwave.
