Good news for fans of The Libertines - Carl Barat has returned fresh from writing with Pete Doherty and says he is 'proud' of their new material.
Barat has been out visiting Doherty in Thailand where he is currently said to be going through a successful period in rehab. While there, the pair took the time to work on songs for the long-awaited third Libertines album.
Now, Barat has revealed that he's touched down back in Britain, and spoken about progress on the LP:
Glad to be back in Blighty, proud of what we've written in Thailand so far, back out there again soon, mind you. #albionay
