US grunge band L7 are set to reunite for their first live dates in 14 years - including an appearance at Download Festival in the UK.
The band, who formed in Los Angeles in 1985 and influenced many of the riot grrrl bands of the 1990s, announced an indefinite hiatus back in 2001 after 16 years and 6 albums together.
In December, they teased a possible 2015 reunion, and they've now announced a handful of live festival dates - Azkena Rock Festival in Spain, Hellfest Open Air in France and Download Festival in the UK.

They've also posted a Kickstarter page which aims to raise funds for an L7 documentary called L7: Pretend We're Dead.
The band received both reverence and infamy back in the 1990s thanks to their heavy political leanings and raucous live shows. On the reverence side, they created the series of pro-choice benefit concerts Rock For Choice in 1991, which ran for ten years.
As for the infamy, at the 1992 Reading Festival, after technical difficuluties led to the crowd throwing mud onto the stage, lead singer Donita Sparks threw her tampon into the crowd yelling, "Eat my used tampon, fuckers!"
