Somersault 2015 will take place from 23 - 27 July in North Devon, and promises to be more than just an ordinary festival.
An event created by the organisers of Wilderness Festival which sold out in its first year, Somersault is a festival with a difference. Rory Bett (CEO of MAMA & Company) says of the festival, 'for us Somersault is the first of a new generation of festivals that offers a true summer holiday experience.’
Offering outward bound activities, beach escapes, craft classes, feasting and merriment abound, Somersault focusses on a full outdoor adventure experience - but that's not to say they've skimped on the music.
Headliners Bombay Bicycle Club and Laura Marling will be joined by an exciting range of performers across three stages (one of which is hosted by Communion Music), with more to be announced.
The line up so far includes Angus & Julia Stone, Jimmy Cliff, Imelda May, The Staves, Rae Morris, Bear’s Den, Jeremy Loops, Laura Doggett, Ibibio Sound Machine, Diagrams, The Shires DJ Yoda, Chai Wallahs, The Correspondents and Norman Jay MBE.
