Muse have shared another photo on Instagram in anticipation of their forthcoming new album Drones, and Matt Bellamy has given some characteristically cryptic answers to fans' Twitter questions.
The Devonshire space-rock trio have been teasing fans for some months now with clips from the progress of their seventh album in studio in Canada and Italy with legendary AC/DC producer Robert 'Mutt' Lange.
They've now posted a photo of a drone on Instagram, onto which they've placed their band's logo in white. We assume this is the work of photoshop, and that they didn't actually deface a drone.
They've promised that the new album will be 'heavier' (it had better be if they're going to headline Download) - and the latest riff taster is certainly in keeping with that. Following some studio banter between Matt Bellamy and Lange about the volume of drummer Dom Howard, a bouncy RATM-esque little rocker of a riff plays out - before some fun arena chanting of what sounds like 'run' kicks in. We're excited.

Meanwhile, Matt Bellamy answered a series of fans' question on Twitter last night, which included him saying that the new single was "too offensive for radio."
