After cinematic reinterpretations of Disclosure and Arcade Fire, Sydney-based producer Flume has produced a rich and sprawling remix of Sam Smith's 'Lay Me Down'. Listen to it below.
Flume swaps out minimal piano chords for a kaleidoscopic synth soundscape, and Smith's brooding vocals give way to booming bass and sharp staccato claps in the new remix.
'I've spent the last few months in the studio working on a bunch of new material, but wanted to share this first,' Flume announced on his Facebook page. 'i can't wait to play some of this new stuff to you!'
