The Who have revealed plans to embark on a 50th Anniversary tour in 2014 - but claim it will be the last time they ever perform live together.
Pete Townshend has confirmed that the band are planning a world tour in 2014 to mark their half-century in music, but due to band members' health issues, it will be a chance for fans to bid farewell to the group.
"For the 50th anniversary we'll tour the world," says Townshend, in an interview with The Evening Standard, admitting they were inspired by the reaction to The Rolling Stones 50 year anniversary gigs. "It'll be the last big one for us. There are still places we've not played. It would be good to go to eastern Europe and places that haven't heard us play all the old hits."
Townshend has been struggling with tinnitus while Roger Daltry had a cancerous growth removed from his throat in 2010.
