A new Kurt Cobain biography is on the horizon, this time taking the form of a comic book.
Written and drawn by Jayfri Hashim, it will document the Nirvana frontman's career all the way from his humble beginnings to struggling with fame during the later years. Tribute: Kurt Cobain will be published on 2 April to commemorate the anniversary of Cobain's death, which took place in April 1994, 20 years ago.
"The Tribute line of comic books tells the stories of people that have made a significant difference in the world while they were with us," says Bluewater publisher Darren G. Davis. "It is a way for us to honor these people who have made a difference in the world."

"Not only is this a great way to understand the importance of his contribution to music, but it is a great tool for kids to read about him in a different medium. Our biography comic books are now taught in schools and libraries for students and reluctant readers.”
Previously Bluewater productions has released biopics of John lennon, Paul McCartney, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Keith Richards in its Tribute series. Freddy Mercury and Monty Python additions are also in the works.
