'Technical difficulties' can happen to the best
Nine Inch Nails at Reading 2013: Last years performance at the iconic festival became marred with controversy after Trent Reznor tweeted: "Should be an unusual show tonight at Reading the lying promoter and the band following us (whoever the fuck they are) fucked us on our production." He was talking about Biffy Clyro. During the performance it was clear that the production of the show was in many ways unfinished and Reznor was not a happy bunny. It was however still NIN so it was awesome.

Both Outkast and Outkast fans had a bit of a tough time at Coachella didn't they? A mixture of desert winds, technical hitches and extraordinarily high expectations kept the hip-hop duo's hugely hyped performance from being the festival dream that they should've been. The result is one of being underwhelmed and ultimately dissappointed.
However, often these situations aren't through any fault of the artists and are mainly due to an extremely unfortunate set of circumstances. A huge amount of work goes into the headline sets at festivals and unfortunately, as with any gig or performance things can sadly go very very wrong very quickly.
