The new LP from the outspoken band is their fifth studio album and the follow up to 2011's Velociraptor. It is an album that guitarist Serge Pizzorno describes as being their most confident yet, saying: "We had the confidence to be more direct, more honest with this album. I started to strip away layers rather than to just keep adding."
It features the bands usual brazen mix of Happy Mondays style electronica and balls out rock. While it isn't the best album that they have put out, those dissapointed by the first single 'eez-eh' shoudln't be put off, as it certainly manages to stand up when measured against the rest of their back catalogue.

The album kicks off a big few months for Kasabian, who have been chosen as one of the three Glastonbury headliners this year. Needless to say they are as usual rather self assured about taking the mantle, saying: "It's our turn and we'll claim our crown."
