It was announced this morning (Tuesday 29 July) that Foo Fighters will be returning to British soil for a special, unexpected London show.
Taking place in The Olympic Park on September 14, The Invictus Games Closing Concert has been organised by Prince Harry and will see the legendary rockers top a bill that also features Ryan Adams, Ellie Goulding, The Vamps and Rizzle Kicks among others.
With rumours circulating that the group will release their long awaited eighth album in autumn, the first since 2011's Wasting Light, this show will no doubt be huge for both the band and their fans, with tickets predicted to sell out quickly when they go on sale Friday 1 August at 9am.
As anticipation builds, here are eight things we want (and expect) to see from The Foo Fighters on their majestic return to the UK.
