David Bowie's sexual history is the stuff of myth and rock n' roll legend. Now, it has been claimed that he once kept a 'fur-lined pit' for 'sexual things' with the likes of Mick Jagger. Oh, Bowie.
Bowie, a new biography by Wendy Leigh, seems to focus on The Thin White Duke's salacious sex life. Speaking to The Daily Mail, she claims that he and first wife Angie 'were notorious about weaving a sexual web around those who took their fancy’.
The most bizarre claim of all, is the tale of Bowie's 'four-foot-deep bed, covered in fur'.
"Angie and David used to have the most amazing orgies at Oakley St. Everybody fucked everybody in the pit," writes Leigh, delightfully. "Mick Jagger used to come there and be involved with sexual things."
Yes, 'sexual things' - you know the sort. The book also talks about Bowie's 'sexual things' with the likes of Susan Sarandon and Charlie Chaplin's widow, Oona.
Anyway, back to music. David Bowie will be releasing a best of compilation featuring new material next month. Nothing Has Changed will be released on 17 November.
