Asgeir has revealed an acoustic version of his brilliant song 'Leyndarmál'. Watch it first on Gigwise below.
The song originally featured on the singer's debut album Dýrð í dauðaþögn, which was released in Icelandic in 2012 before being re-recorded in English this year for In The Silence.
There's something more impactful and poignant about the original Icelandic version though, and in his HIjodriti Session, he's stripped it back to its beautiful bare bones.
