Jamie Scott has a very beautiful voice, that is for sure. Unfortunately, so do lots of other 20-something pretty boys out there at the moment and it is questionable whether Mr Scott and his band have anything different to offer from, say James Morrison or James Blunt (what is it with the name James and mediocre singer-songwriters?). Nevertheless, layers of harmonious acoustic instruments create a relaxed vibe that is sure to appeal in the late summer months and the classically inspired style is certainly popular at the moment. Only time will tell whether this particular James’ talent is enough to win, and keep, fans.
