Opening with bold, classic rock inspired guitars, ‘You’re So Cruel’ immediately stands out as something that is a little bit different, and just a little bit special. The rock guitar sound matched with the gravely, effortless vocal style vaguely reminiscent of Mr Stereophonics, Kelly Jones is really rather appealing; while B-side, ‘My Little Animal’ shows a punkier side to the Hungarian 4-piece. The Skull Juice Remix doesn’t actually seem to use that much of the track, but is an interesting reinterpretation. While there is still room for improvement lyrically, The Puzzle are definitely promising.
