The Maccabees are back with 'Something Like Happiness' - and now there's a shiny new video to accompany the new song. Watch it below.
Marks To Prove it, the band's long awaited return to music, has already had the rocky title track and video revealed, and 'Something Like Happiness' marks the second track to be lifted from the album. It's a bright an breezy tune with an uplifting chorus.
Directed by Joe Connor, it features beautiful, monochrome shots of the city and the band happily playing amongst it all. It joins 'Marks To Prove It' as the second instalment of a trilogy of music videos, all of which follow the same character's journey through a utopic version of London.

The new music from the band took some time to create and was plagued by doubts from the members of the band, but the Maccabees seem to have found their sweet spot with their new tunes: 'These new songs are a reminder of why we started the band,' says lead guitarist Hugo White. 'With the enthusiasm to play music that’s exciting and makes us excited.'
Marks To Prove it will be released on July 31, along with the single 'Something Like Happiness'. The Maccabees are set to play Reading and Leeds festival and Glastonbury this summer, and there are plans for their own headline tour later in the year.
