If you like shimmering synth-pop with dark undertones, then Bristol's Centrefolds are the band for you. Check out the Gigwise premiere of new single '15 Minutes Of Fame' below.
A glossy, polished and infectious number it may be, but just as the lyrics attest, it's the dark beating heart of something more menacing that drives '15 Minutes Of Fame'.
"A guys walks into the cinema, dressed as The Joker, and shoots a lot of people," explains frontman Phil Smith. Naturally, the absurd tragedy of the song is reflected the Killers-esque blend of pop and melodrama - showing the band's wide cross of influnces: a band who admit that to them, Nirvana, LCD Soundsystem, Death From Above 1979 and The Beatles are all of equal importance.
