Swervedriver have announced their new album I Wasn't Born To Lose You, their first album since 1998.
Following the lead of their former Creation Records labelmates Ride, Oxford's Swervedriver are now set to release new music. In the decade between 1989-1998 the band released four albums, establishing themselves as the rockier edge of shoegaze. The band reformed in 2008 to play Coachella, with fans ranging from Anton Newcombe to Billy Corgan.
Swervedriver have now recorded a new album that will be released on 3 March on Cobraside Records. Single 'Setting sun' will be released on 13 January, backed by a cover of Television's 'Days'.
