Blur continued their run of UK shows with a warm-up show for this weekend's Isle Of Wight Festival with a storming set in Blackpool last night (Wednesday 10 June). Check out the setlist, footage and our photos from the show below.
Opening with the massive 'Go Out' from their brilliant new album, The Magic Whip', the band tore into an epic 23-song career-spanning set - giving a great taster of what to expect of them when they headline Isle Of Wight Festival.
Only two songs in during the classic 'There's No Other Way', fans grew so frenzied and lively that the crowd barrier was broken, forcing the band to take a short break afterwards so that security could fix the damage. See footage of the incident below. They soon reconvened with a glorious rendition of 'Lonesome Street'.
As well as cuts from the brilliant Magic Whip, the band were in high spirits as they belted out fan favourites and iconic numbers such as 'Trimm Trabb', 'Beetlebum', 'Tender', 'Parklife', 'Song 2', 'To The End' and 'This Is A Low', before returning for a brilliant encore of 'Girls & Boys', 'For Tomorrow' and 'The Universal'.
