News has come in of the first headliner announcement for Download Festival 2016 - and while many of the metal faithful are overjoyed with Iron Maiden, many are a little bored.
The band will be topping the bill on the closing night of the iconic metal bash in June as part of their massive Book Of Souls world tour.
However, many are a little underwhelmed by the news, finding it a little 'underwhelming' and 'predictable' - especially as the band last headlined back only in 2013:
Iron Maiden headlining Download Festival next year, again. How exciting... 😒 #sameshit #differentyear

Hmm Iron Maiden as a Headliner for @DownloadFest is pretty typical. I hope the next announcement is more exciting #DL2016
