Justin Bieber surprised his fans at his intimate acoustic concert at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall by preforming covers of The Beatles, Ne-Yo and Tracy Chapman.
The ‘What Do You Mean’ singer was armed with just a piano, a guitar and his voice, and that was all he needed. The show lasted 85 minutes, after which, his fans were not disappointed. He certainly did justice to his covers – ‘Let It Be’ seemed warm and heartfelt and despite having just come back from a jam-packed weekend in Tokyo and London, this voice didn’t seem to suffer. .

Other covers included Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’, Tracy Chapman’s ‘Fast car’, Ne-Yo’s ‘So Sick’ and Jerry Lee Lewis’ ‘Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On’.
The ‘Baby’ singer performed the covers at a concert called ‘An Evening with Justin Bieber’. The intimate show sold out in two minutes and the C$100 ticket sales went to Stratford House of Blessing, a non-profit organisation that offers food, clothing and other resources for low-income families. Bieber’s mother once used the organisation.
“It’s really good to be home, first of all,” Bieber said on stage, “We’re just going to make this loose tonight. I’m not really sure what I’m going to do. I’m just going to play a bunch of my new songs.”
The singer proceeded to sing 24 songs, including ‘Baby’, ‘One Less Lonely Girl’, ‘Boyfriend’, ‘Be Alright’, ‘Sorry’ and ‘Love Yourself’.
