Amidst falling figures and a constantly changing line-up, The X Factor has unveiled the four new judges for this year’s series - and none of them are new.
Joining the show’s founder and all-round irritant Simon Cowell will be Louis Walsh (who has been fired and reinstated approximately 17 times now), Sharon Osbourne (who was a regular between 2004 and 2007) and Nicole Scherzinger (who was a judge in 2012 and 2013).
They’ll replace last year’s judges - Nick Grimshaw, Cheryl and Rita Ora - all of whom have left.
As for the presenters, after just one series Caroline Flack and Olly Murs have been replaced by Dermot O’Leary - who left for just one year after hosting for nearly a decade.
The move comes after years of declining viewing figures. The 2015 series pulled in an average of 7.85 million UK viewers on average, which is just over half the figures for the 2010 series.
