Apple Music's latest surge continued today as James Cordon was unveiled as the star of their latest advertising campaign.
The advert sees Corden pitch to Apple execs Jimmy Iovine, Eddy Cue, and Bozoma Saint John for a new commercial with the bumbling fool attitude Ali G had when he was trying to sell Slippas - albeit a bit less exaggerated.
In the film clip, which you can watch below, one of the pitches sees him brainstorm as the idea of the advert is "me dressed up as every iconic music star in history" images flash to him dressed up as Slash, Spice Girls, Phasreell , and Bowie prevail. And it's him dressed up with the lightning Bolt make up that's really upset some people.
Actor Michael Legge was one of the first people to post the image of Cordon as Bowie with the below comment.
Well, that's today ruined. pic.twitter.com/vYvhUAIHCU

Get In The Sea's response to that was them being their usual chipper selves:
And here was me thinking that James Cordon couldnae possibly get any more irritating than he already was. https://t.co/DFWzAlXrok

In response to Michael Legge post was someone fairly sarcastic...
And someone having a panic attack...
Meanwhile, the Get In The sea commenters were a little more angry and sweary. Here's one of the more polite reactions....
Lastly, this person has remebered to spare a thought for Steve Jobs...
The all-new Apple Music - Advert https://t.co/oSejf0FAFa Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave! This is awful!!! 😭 😭 😭
