The Mono LPs return with a couple of fingers pointed in the direction of those of us who thought that the shaken up Merseybeat sound of The Zutons were long gone.
The band have been around on the Liverpool music scene for longer than you could imagine, but they still sound just as fresh on this latest cut.
'L.O.V.E. & H.A.T.E', is part of the band's debut album which was succesfully funded by a pledge campaign, which was supported by the band's strong following.
The track goes through quirky string arrangement laced over some pumelling rhythms. It's a great throwback to indie of the noughties, but is also a nice introduction to what can be expected from the band's album.
