One of modern R&B's most distinctive voices and songwriters, DAWN, aka Dawn Richard, has announced she will drop her highly anticipated new album REDEMPTION on 18 November via Local Action/Our Dawn Entertainment.

Largely produced by Machinedrum and DAWN, according to the former Danity Kane member it's her most powerful work to date as she expands on her boundless, future-focused electronic sound to create a highly infectious body of work, showcased by her thunderous new track 'Renegades'.

It’s the last installment in the trilogy that includes her critically-acclaimed albums Goldenheart and Blackheart, the latter of which was ranked as one of 2015's best albums by Pitchfork, FACT, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Stereogum, The FADER, Spin and many more. It’s also a coming of age for Dawn as a person, tackling race issues, gender inequality, self-love, and empowerment.

This comes hot on the heels of an explosive year for DAWN, including performances at FORM Arcosanti, Moogfest and other festivals across the globe. She released her standout track 'Not Above That' and followed it up with her lauded INFRARED EP with L.A.-based producer Kingdom.

She also dropped a fully immersive virtual reality video via WIRED and launched YouTube’s first ever “live 360-degree” video performance series. D∆WN continues to push boundaries and create her own way with no end in sight.

Listen to 'Renegades' below and pre-order Redemption via iTunes and add it to your Spotify playlist here.

The album will be available as a digital release, vinyl and a special USB necklace designed by D∆WN that features a digital lyric book, VR content, exclusive photography and more. For more info click here
