South London’s Kiko Bun is the capital's best new solo reggae star. He incorporates sonics of hip-hop and salsa into his skank-worthy sun-soaked pleasure of a show to witness.
Today, we can unveil a different side to this charismatic singers arsenal; his piano side. We have exclusive footage of him performing his track 'Sweetie' from his EP aptly named Inna Piano Fashion. Watch the performance below.
Despite stripping it back to classical grand piano and vocal his reggae tones shine just as brightly as when he’s leading a full band. It’s a feel good cut that shows why Kiko Bun is among the most in-demand reggae signers in the world at the moment. He’s so exposed without dense production to hide behind the foliage of, and you can truly hear every detail, but with Kiko Bun this is no bad thing – he’s a great, great singer.
‘Sweetie' will be used on the ‘I Am Bolt’ soundtrack, for the forthcoming Usain Bolt documentary. The song is the third and final track to be released from the EP. Another highlight is awesome cover of Nina Simone’s ‘My Baby Just Cares For Me’.
