After making one of music's biggest comebacks, Craig David took it back to the old school last night - performing his 1999 hit 'Rewind' at the BBC Music Awards. Watch the performance below.
Appearing alongside acts such as Robbie Williams, The 1975 and Kaiser Chiefs - David treat the crowd to a slice of 90's nostalgia with a surprise outing of the track, which segued into 2016's 'Ain't Giving Up'.
"Sometimes you've got to go back to look forward" the star told the crowd after the performance, before hinting that new material is currently in the pipeline, as he continues to ride the wave of this year's massive comeback.
Meanwhile, David has also recently won "Best Male Act" at this year's MOBOs following his return to the music scene. Speaking of his return, the star described his 2016 as "an incredible 12 months"
Craig David's sixth studio album Following My Intuition was released in September 2016, and marked his first UK number one record since 2000's Born To Do It.
While the success of recent work speaks for itself, there's nothing wrong with a bit of 90's revival every so often, eh?
