An Illinois newspaper has confirmed the sad news that a 24-year-old man has been found dead at annual hardcore rap festival Insane Clown Posse's Gathering of the Juggalos.
Every year fans gather at the Illinois festival to see the Detroit duo Insane Clown Posse which consists of 'wicked clowns' Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope.
Riverfront Times reports that the male had approached another man to ask if he could sleep in his tent in the private campground as he complained of feeling sick. The owner of the tent checked back a few hours later to find the man had died.
The cause of death is thought to be down to a heroin overdose and becomes the fourth death at the Southern Illinois festival since 2007.
According to the Southern Illinoisan newspaper, this year's Gathering has seen nine suspected overdoses and three arrest including one for aggravated battery.
