In one of the most amusing news stories of 2015 so far, it looks like Alcopop! Records have purchased UKIP's domain name. Sadly, it looks like Nigel Farage and co have clutched it back.
Earlier today, there was somewhat of a tizz among the right-wing after UKIP.org appeared to have been taken down.
A spokesman for UKIP said: "We have had a technical problem with the website overnight, it is being worked on currently and we will get it back up as soon as possible."
Alcopop, the home to awesome acts such as Acollective, Sam Duckworth, Johnny Foreigner and Gigwise favourites Waylayers and Brawlers, then told DIY what they planned to do with the website:
A) "Fill it full of unicorns.”
B) “Redirect it to a brilliant charity.”
C) “Start the United Kingdom Indie Parties party.”
Listen to 'Instagram Famous' by Brawlers below
However, it seems as if the domain has been sold back to UKIP. Watch the drama unfold below:

Some people saying it won't go through, so can't comment on that, but I have a receipt from GoDaddy so we'll see :-)

If they can't be trusted to run a website, i fear a country may be too much for them.... Don't see the Alcopop! site down!
