Popstar Miley Cyrus has expressed her beliefs that her Bangerz tour will be educational for children.
Speaking to Fuse, the 'Wrecking Ball' star explained that she feels the tour will give children access to art that they wouldn't normally see, saying "Even though parents probably won't think this, I think my show is educational for kids. They're going to be exposed to art most people don't know about."
She continued, "I'm excited to take this tour to places where [art] like this wouldn't be accepted, where kids wouldn't learn about this different kind of art."
Miley has been releasing tour teaser pictures, such as a giant hot dog via her Twitter.
Cyrus has also stated that she will be dropping merchandise onto the audience, that would usually be for sale at the merch stands.
"I'll have things falling out of the sky that most peope would sell at the merch table. My thing has never been about me making money. I did [that] when I was a kid."
Miley's Bangerz tour hits the UK in May, with appearances at London's O2 Arena, plus shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and Belfast. For more information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
