Death From Above 1979 have finally announced the release of their second album - 10 years after their critically-acclaimed debut.
The Canadian noise-rock duo released the cult favourite Your A Woman, I'm A Machine back in 2004 to great fanfare, before splitting in 2006. The indie world celebrated when they reunited for some pretty awesome shows in 2011, and now they have new material on the horizon.
The Physical World will be released on 9 September via Last Gang, and we're pretty excited.
"We're putting out a Death From Above record and if the press is like, 'It's not what we expected', or however they react to it, it's like, 'We'll you've been fucking asking for it,'" drummer and vocalist Sebastian Grainger told the NME.
"This record is a key for us. It will permit us to go play the shows we want to play and it gives us the freedom to do what we want."

The album's lead track, 'Cheap Talk', is expected to be released soon - along with the announcement of tour dates.
