Coldplay returned to London to celebrate their latest album Ghost Stories with an epic show at Royal Albert Hall last night (Tuesday 1 July, 2014). Check out videos, photos and the setlist below.
It was the first of shows at the iconic venue, with tickets selling out in minutes. The band performed 'in the round' at the Hall, appearing in the middle of the venue and performing to the entire circumference of the room. It was pretty beautiful.
The band then kicked off a hit-packed and career-spanning set, starting with new fan favourite 'Always In My Head' before tearing into the likes of 'Magic, 'Clocks', God Put A Smile Upon Your Face' and many more.
Crowd members report that 'The Scientist' was dedicated to Chris Martin's dad, and was briefly stopped and restarted due to noise from one particular audience member.
Coldplay return to Royal Albert Hall for a second show tonight (Wednesday 2 July, 2014). For more information visit Gigwise Tickets.
