Jarvis Cocker picked a 9-year-old boy as the winner of a Pulp karaoke contest, which took place after a screening of the band's new film.
Cocker was in New York for a screening of Pulp: A Film About Life, Death And Supermarkets, but he also took the time to Q+A and to judge a Pulp karaoke competition.

The winner of the competition was a child called Graham (a rare breed), who sang 'This Is Hardcore', the title track from the band's 1998 album.
According to Brooklyn Vegan, Cocker said: "That was one of the most incredible things I've ever witnessed. It was a little disturbing... but I will not forget that, ever."
Pulp: A Film About Life, Death, and Supermarkets is out now on DVD in the UK.
