Drenge have revealed they are not fans of Royal Blood's music, saying the Brighton duo are "too poppy" for their tastes.
In an interview with Digital Spy at Reading Festival last weekend (22-25 August), the Sheffield two piece, made up of brothers Eoin and Rory Loveless have stated that although they like Royal Blood as people, their music is "just a bit clean" for them.
"They're really nice guys and they come up to us at every show and say hi, it's just their stuff's way too poppy" Eoin stated, explaining how he isn't a fan of their musical output.
"It's just a bit clean for me, but they're lovely guys and really glad they're doing well."

Royal Blood released their long awaited debut album on Monday (25 August), which looks set to take the number one spot on the UK charts this Sunday.
Drenge also commented on other bands at Reading and Leeds this year, the highlight of which involved a personal message to Robbie Williams when interviewed by Gigwise at the festival.
