Rising rock duo Royal Blood are celebrating a double victory, after not only claiming the No.1 album spot but also scoring the fastest-selling rock debut in three years.
The Brighton rock duo and Gigwise favourites managed to shift an impressive 66,000 copies over the last week, more than any rock debut's first seven days since Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ in 2011.
The success comes after a massive year of fulfilled hype, with a string of acclaimed singles and EPs as well as blowing away fans at critics at all festivals from the Great Escape to Glastonbury, T In The Park and Reading + Leeds.

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran finds himself at No.2 in the albums chart with X, Ariana Grande is at No.3 with My Everything, Collabro comes in at No.4 with Stars and Sam Smith completes the top five with In The Lonely Hour.
Kate Bush is also worth mention, whose albums The Whole Story and Hounds Of Love have re-entered the top ten after the BBC documentary about her, and the icon's acclaimed comeback shows at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
