Robert Plant has started streaming his new solo album Lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar, one week before its official release, listen below.
The former Led Zeppelin frontman's tenth solo studio album, this record reportedly sees Plant return to the roots of his sound whilst simultaneously pushing things forward, with the rock icon explaining in a press release "Lullaby is a celebratory record, powerful, gritty, African, Trance meets Zep.”
He goes onto say that the record sees him personally writing more material than ever before, saying: "I have a whole index, an absolute rainbow, of influences. I need to talk about what’s going on in my life, in my lap, speaking from my experience; it’s far more honest and much more appropriate.”
Listen to the album in full now through NPR.
