Geoff Barrow of Portishead has claimed that Phantogram have sampled him without permission. Check out the tracks in question below.
Barrow, who recently complained bitterly about The Weeknd using 'Machine Gun' (despite the pair sharing a label), has a new target.
As reported by Pitchfork, Barrow tweeted a link to the Who Sampled page for Phantogram's 2009 single 'When I'm Small' claiming it features Barrow on drums.
Barrow tweeted the following last night:
Rt. @Phantogram aren't getting back to my polite tweets asking why they sampled me without asking http://t.co/OmvtyWsut3 Must be busy?

Watch: Phantogram's When I'm Small, which may feature Geoff Barrow's drumming
Listen: The original track that features Barrow on drums
Rather than being some sort of long-term grudge settling, Barrow first became aware of the sample when hearing it on a shaving commercial.
You see @Phantogram have just sold it their tune to a Gillette advert so I hear my drums about 6 times a day and it got me wondering....

Phantogram have yet to respond to the claims.
Portishead recently reissued their debut album Dummy to mark its 20th anniversary.
