Avicii has been forced to cancel all upcoming live dates due to health concerns following surgery.
According to Billboard, the Swedish dance superstar has pulled shows in China, Japan and Las Vegas between now and the end of the year to recover from issues arising from surgery that he had earlier this year to remove his gallbladder and appendix.
The surgery forced Avicii to pull out of his headlining slot at the Ultra Music Festival earlier this year, as well as his Las Vegas residencies during the month of April. He will now be unable to perform at TomorrowWorld this month nor take part in his Asian dates later this year.
A spokesman from Avicii told Billboard that he'll be resting in Stockholm until he has 'recovered the strength and physical well being necessary to resume work on his second artist album next year'.
