Festival-goers attending Bestival this year gave up £25,000 of illegal drugs to amnesty bins.
According to the Guardian, during the four day event on the Isle of Wight, a vast amount of drugs were given up voluntarily. Further to that £20,000 worth of drugs were seized.
Sixty two drug offences were recorded and 116 stop checks were carried out. The crime rate was reduced by 12% compared with the previous year.
Bestival was attended by 55,000 people, with headliners including Outkast, Beck, Foals and Chic. Check out our full review with photos from Bestival 2014 here.
